About
We publish interesting stuff.
How do we define ‘stuff’?
We use the less-than-precise term ‘stuff’ because Hyper Modern Media publishes in a wide variety of formats. We’ve published ebooks, email newsletters, membership sites and all sorts of other online content — the major constraint is what really is the best format for the type of information we’re dealing with.
We can’t even say that we only publish stuff that we can sell. We offer a lot of stuff for free, particularly through our blogs.
Just who is ‘we’?
For just who is involved on a given publication from Hyper Modern Media, you’ll have to look at that particular piece. We make sure to bring in experts who really know the specifics of whatever we’re working on this week, so the list is constantly changing. We also work with some truly excellent freelancers on everything we do.
If you need help, Thursday Bram (our founder) is your best point of contact. She’s usually the one on the other end of support emails and the like — if you fill out our contact form, she’ll respond via email. You can also find her on Twitter.
Who decides what’s ‘interesting’?
For that, we have to refer you back to Thursday again. She’s an entrepreneur and creative professional, so a lot of what we cover falls into topics related to business and creativity. However, we’re very open to finding new interesting topics, so if you are looking for a particular type of resource, let us know. We’ll see what we can do.

We never sell your personal information to third parties. Below is information on what types of personal information we receive and collect when you use and visit any Hyper Modern Media website, and how we safeguard your information.
- Log Files: As with most other websites, we collect and use the data contained in log files. The information in the log files include your IP (internet protocol) address, your ISP (internet service provider, such as AOL or Verizon), the browser you used to visit our site (such as Internet Explorer or Firefox), the time you visited our site and which pages you visited throughout our site.
- Cookies and Web Beacons: We do use cookies to store information, such as your personal preferences when you visit our site. This could include only showing you a popup once in your visit, or the ability to login to some of our features, such as forums. We also use third party advertisements on many Hyper Modern LLC websites to support our sites. Some of these advertisers may use technology such as cookies and web beacons when they advertise on our site, which will also send these advertisers (such as Google through the Google AdSense program) information including your IP address, your ISP , the browser you used to visit our site, and in some cases, whether you have Flash installed. This is generally used for geotargeting purposes (showing New York real estate ads to someone in New York, for example) or showing certain ads based on specific sites visited (such as showing cooking ads to someone who frequents cooking sites).
Generally speaking, we try to follow a basic policy: If we wouldn’t want a website to do it to us, we won’t do it to you.
